  • Presentation: You want to mainly provide input and then get feedback or just inform about what you think is interesting to the other participants
  • Dialog: The focus is not on providing input or holding a presentation (although there may be a short introductory presentation if that helps). But the focus of the session is to discuss questions and explore together
  • Workshop: Beyond a mere a dialog you actually want to produce some results in the group that can be used as input for next steps in your work or anyone else in the group

Key issues, questions, desired results

In this session we will share with you our findings in designing new layouts for train destination displays. DB Station&Service created in the last months up to 60 different versions of draft layouts. We used the design thinking methodology to test multiple draft layouts with customers to achieve the best result. This iterative process of design and test results in specific requirements for layouts. Following questions will be addressed in this session:

  • How important are colors and textures?
  • What are the most important information from a customer perspective?
  • What is the right balancing between information overload and focusing on creative flexibility?
  • How to distribute information on layouts for destination displays?
  • What are the pain points of customers?
  • What is the positioning of our layouts in an iternational comparison?
