What is the event format?
TravelinformationCamp is an open and participatory workshop event. Our meeting will be “BarCamp style”: You will shape the agenda! All participants (or at least one from each participating team) are expected to actively share from their projects and experiences. That does not mean you have to prepare specific glossy presentations – just bring input for showing and telling that will inspire an engaging discussion in the sessions. The agenda will have time slots for plenary and individual workshop sessions. In order to prepare optimally for the whole group please let us know what you are interested in and would like to share in the second page of this survey – thank you! Of course, we will actively share input from our project as well.
No spectators, just participants!
This BarCamp-rule does not mean everybody has to do a session, but everybody should come prepared to participate in an active manner.
- Prepare a presentation or moderate a workshop.
- Participate in discussions, ask questions during the sessions, support the presenter, be critical.
- Take photos and post them online for others.
- If you have a blog, write about TravelinformationCamp – before, during, and after the camp.
- Get in touch with other campers and most importantly be open for new ideas and topics.
Be proactive, you are TravelinformationCamp! We want this event to cover the breadth of Europe and take a full international focus and we’re relying on each attendee to help make it so. You’re probably not going to want to miss this!
